The Rock N Roll to Reno League has added its inaugural World Series of Bowling Tournament to the Reno
League Open Tournament Series for the upcoming 2010-2011 season.

The World Series will consist of five tournaments bowled on five PBA patterns. Each tournament will feature a different format ranging from an Eliminator to a six game Matchplay Open.

The tournament will begin with the Plastic Ball Championships bowled on the PBA Cheetah pattern. All participants will be limited to the use of plastic balls only for this four game qualifying tournament. A semi-final and final round will determine the champion.

Next on the schedule is the Chameleon Eliminator Open followed by the Six Game Matchplay Viper Open. The tournament enters its fourth week with the Scorpion Skins Game. The top four bowlers advance to a one game skins shootout final.

The tournament concludes with the Race to Six Shootout Shark open. The top two finalist will compete in a head to head shootout. The first finalist to roll six strikes will be declared the winner. A $100 bonus will be paid to any finalist who rolls the first six strikes in a row.

Bowlers competing in the World Series will accumulate points for the World Series tournament events. The bowler with the top point tally after all five events will be awarded a $250 bonus.

Registration for the World Series of Bowling Tournament Series will begin in July. Tournament information
will be made available July 14th.
